Hybridge Imaging completes major medical records conversion totaling over 7,000,000 images. Two major hospital's needed several years of critical medical records scanned into their Papervision and Onbase retreival systems. The projects were completed at the Hybridge facility in Duluth Minnesota using Digitech Paperflow software, 3 Bell & Howell high speed scanners. Each patient visit was pulled from files, prepped, scanned, indexed, and exported for transfer to different document management systems. Deadlines and availability of files were critical. Request for information required production files be pulled and distrubuted to the apporpriate HIM unit. Deadlines were met by scanning 1 million images per month. Hybridge conversion service saved the hospitals capital expenditures, staffing, and training costs.

| Hybridge has performed several large microfilm conversions to digital formats. Indexing of film allows look up of digital images from any computer folder with free Adobe reader software. Customers are pleased with the ROI based existing knowledge worker productivity and lower capital expenditure tied to expensive software and hardware investments. |
